BROOKLYN (Sept. 9, 2016) – World middleweight champion and Brooklyn native Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (31-1-0) will represent BROOKLYN BOXING, the boxing brand for Barclays Center, for the first time in the ring in tonight’s anticipated re-match against Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora (28-4-2).

Tonight, as Jacobs and his corner men take their famed walk from his branded locker room to the ring, they’ll wear a full array of BROOKLYN BOXING gear.  Jacobs’ fight kit will include branded gloves, trunks and a robe, which will feature his “Miracle Man” moniker, all in BROOKLYN BOXING’s signature black and cyan. In addition, in what has become custom for Jacobs, his trunks will display his son’s name, Nate, across the waistband.

Fans can purchase their own apparel online at BrooklynBoxingShop.com and in-person at Santander Arena at merchandise stands on the concourse.

“I’m excited to represent BROOKLYN BOXING for the first time in the ring tonight,” said Jacobs. “Brooklyn is where I learned the sport and it’s my home, but I’m proud to bring BROOKLYN BOXING to fans in Reading, Pa. and showcase it nationwide on SPIKE TV.”

“Daniel epitomizes what boxing means in Brooklyn,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. “He’s been an underdog for most of his life and he’s had setbacks, but he’s persevered to overcome them and now he’s one of the best in the sport. Tonight will be a milestone for BROOKLYN BOXING as Daniel, a role model for many in our community, takes center stage representing our brand.”

Jacobs was named the face of BROOKLYN BOXING in June 2016, and in support of the alliance, the brand will make an annual donation to Jacobs’ Get In The Ring Foundation, through which he advocates for children struggling with cancer, childhood obesity, and bullying.

Launched in April 2016, the new BROOKLYN BOXING merchandise line features a unique brand of active wear, lifestyle apparel, accessories for men and women, fighters and fans alike.

The assortment includes in-ring essentials like BROOKLYN BOXING training gear, gloves and corner buckets, as well as street wear such as hats, hoodies, shirts, socks and skateboards.

World middleweight champion and Brooklyn native Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (31-1-0) has been named the face of BROOKLYN BOXING, the flourishing boxing platform for Barclays Center.

In the multi-year agreement, Jacobs will wear BROOKLYN BOXING branded merchandise, appear in promotional materials and make public appearances on behalf of the brand.

Jacobs will train and compete in branded gloves, trunks, shoes and robes and will wear other apparel during fight week events and post-fight press conferences. As Jacobs and his corner men take their famed walk from his branded locker room to the ring, they’ll wear a full array of BROOKLYN BOXING gear. Brooklyn is my home and I’m proud to have achieved so many of my career milestones at Barclays Center.”

In 2011, Jacobs was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a life-threatening form of bone cancer. After an arduous battle, radiation treatments and surgery, Jacobs returned to the ring at Barclays Center where he went on to win his WBA world middleweight title in August 2014, a belt he still holds. He last defended his title at Barclays Center in December 2015, when he took down then-undefeated Peter Quillin in a shocking first-round knockout.

“Daniel is a true inspiration to Brooklyn, the boxing community and beyond,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. “His story captures what BROOKLYN BOXING is all about – courage, toughness, and perseverance. We are proud to have Daniel represent the BROOKLYN BOXING brand globally. Wherever he goes, BROOKLYN BOXING will go.”

In support of the alliance, BROOKLYN BOXING will make an annual donation to Jacobs’ Get In The Ring Foundation, through which he advocates for children struggling with cancer, childhood obesity, and bullying.

BROOKLYN (May 11, 2016) – BROOKLYN BOXING is headed to Russia where world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will promote Barclays Center's flourishing boxing platform on his Everlast gear during training camp and fight week ahead of his title defense against Russian fighter Alexander Povetkin on May 21 at Megasport Arena in Moscow. Wilder has a long-standing alliance with Everlast.

Wilder established a strong bond with Barclays Center earlier this year when he defended his title in Brooklyn by knocking out Artur Szpilka in the 9th round on January 16, 2016.

"I'm excited to represent BROOKLYN BOXING in Russia as I get ready to retain my world championship belt," said Wilder, who has a record of 36-0, 35 KO's. "I had a memorable night at Barclays Center and I already consider it my home away from home."

"We are thrilled to have world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder bring BROOKLYN BOXING to Moscow," said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. "The BROOKLYN BOXING brand has quickly resonated in the U.S. and we are excited to extend our reach into Russia and beyond."

Further diversifying its BROOKLYN BOXING brand, Barclays Center has partnered with Tribune Media's PIX 11 to produce a 30-minute television special, BROOKLYN BOXING COUNTDOWN, which premiered on April 16 before the arena hosted Errol Spence Jr.'s 5th round TKO against Chris Algieri. Following the success of the broadcast, Barclays Center and PIX 11 will continue to produce the show prior to major boxing events at the venue.
